Job summary

Simon Property Group in Indianapolis is seeking a Lease Analyst to manage the analysis, input, and processing of lease data and charges, including CAM, real estate tax, and percentage rent. The role supports accurate invoicing and financial reporting in a fast-paced corporate setting.

You will review rent rolls and related monthly reports, validate lease language, and assist with data transfers during acquisitions. A detail-oriented, MS Office-proficient candidate will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Ability to analyze and interpret lease language.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Abstract, interpret, input, and analyze information on leases, amendments, and other legal documents.
• Identify problematic lease language that is financially detrimental or difficult to efficiently administer and prepare analysis of financial impact.
• Calculate and prepare tenant billing files for real estate taxes and CAM.
• Includes analysis of fluctuations in expenses.
• Review monthly reports/processes including Rent Roll and Events.
• Review work from peers on lease abstracts and document processing.
• Participate in property acquisitions including due diligence activities, property set up and transfer of data.
• Assist in corporate/ department improvements both in software testing and policy.
• Participation in special projects as assigned.

Understand, adhere to, and promote compliance with company and departmental policies and procedures.RESPONSIBILITIES:Abstract, interpret, input, and analyze information on leases, amendments, and other legal documents.Identify problematic lease language that is financially detrimental or difficult to efficiently administer and prepare analysis of financial impact.Calculate and prepare tenant billing files for real estate taxes and common area maintenance.
