Derivative Path in Chicago is seeking an Analyst on the Interest Rate Derivatives Sales team to work with banks and trading desks. This client-facing role requires presenting to executives and structuring derivative transactions with guidance.

You will support senior bankers, maintain CRM records, prepare market updates, and participate in onboarding with Legal, Compliance, and Operations. Training is provided as you grow in a smaller, high-impact fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in finance, business, economics, engineering, or CS.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience (or internships).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior quantitative skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries about pricing and structuring of interest rate derivatives.
• Prepare client presentations and marketing materials.
• Execute interest rate derivative trades with swap dealers and commercial borrowers.
• Maintain details of sales activities in CRM systems.
• Communicate current market trends in clear written form.
