- Provide highly specialized support to pharmacy staff roles throughout the care continuum
- Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic leader for the Willow Ambulatory system
- Drive innovation and system improvements
- Collaborate with leadership on high-impact initiatives
- Oversee team performance and ensure the long-term success of the Willow Ambulatory system
- Lead planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of existing systems
- Support and troubleshoot applications
- Liaise between technical support, customers, and project teams in system design, implementation, and training
- Use comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy workflows and Epic system capabilities
- Develop, recommend, and oversee implementation of policies and procedures
- Educate pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy leadership, and other clinicians in their use of Willow
Requirements
- Active Epic Willow Ambulatory & inventory certification required
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a position with the same or similar primary duties in a healthcare setting
- Experience including database and data analysis technology and project management tools
- Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting Pharmacy Operations and/or systems experience in a healthcare organization
- 3+ years of Epic Willow experience required
- Experience working with Epic configuration required
- A bachelor’s degree in nursing, PharmD, another clinical discipline, information technology/informatics, business, management, communications, or equivalent years of experience
- Active license or certification to practice as a clinician is preferred
- Active/current Epic certification in Beacon is preferred
- Experience in department building and implementing community connect locations is preferred
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, Microsoft SQL 2000 or 2005, Cognos, Crystal Reports, and Visio is highly preferred
- History of team management, cross-team communication, and leadership skills is preferred
- Experience with project management for data gathering, analyzing, and defining business and functional requirements is preferred
- Certified and/or accredited in Compass Rose/Health Planet/Willow inpatient is preferred
