Job description

Responsibilities

The Analyst II, Loyalty Analytics and Forecasting provides loyalty program managers with forecasting and ad hoc analyses on a $150M+ suite of loyalty products, including Free Spirit, Co-Brand, and Savers Club. Key objectives include driving acquisitions, retention, and yield from the sale of loyalty currency to partners. The Analyst should provide guidance and analysis to support the requirements of management and product owners, providing information on which to make decisions and proactively identify performance trends and recommendations to inform the team and influence our stakeholders.

  • Analyze progress toward achieving program KPIs.
  • Produce ad-hoc statistical analyses for program managers and executives.
  • Pull, clean, and organize data from disparate data sets.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Develop recurring reports for product managers and executives.
  • Support BI team in auditing data to ensure accuracy and quality of BI reports.
  • Share data-based insights powerfully and simply to create shared understanding and commitment to action/solution.
  • Create transparency of performance, insight, and action to all stakeholders.
  • Seek to deeply understand needs (not just wants) and partner effectively with all levels of Spirit team members. Listen, communicate and influence effectively to create seamless collaboration.
  • Build and execute effective standard processes and metrics to track both process and results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in data analytics.
  • Able to gather and use relevant data to measure effectiveness, identify status, patterns, issues, trends, and root causes.
  • Understands how to use process and results metrics to identify strengths and weaknesses.
  • Strong knowledge in data analytics methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to share insights from data analytics and tell a story to influence stakeholders.
  • Programming and/or statistical languages (SQL, R, Python, etc.) preferred.
  • Knowledge of Loyalty programs a plus.
  • Segmentation and/or personas a plus.
  • Predictive analytics and/or text analytics a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines.
  • Drive for perfection in design and execution. Enthusiastic about managing and measuring process.
  • Strong attention to detail, time/project management, and organization skills.
  • Ability to listen with intent to understand and actively reach out to all relevant team members to create two-way understanding and transparency.
  • Has a high level of integrity, confidentiality, ethics, and discretion. Is direct and open, builds and sustains relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Understands Guest needs and meets them without adding costs and complexity.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships at all levels, collaborating with others across business, function, geographical boundaries, and with third-party vendors.
  • Domestic travel 10% of the time.
  • Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
