California Correctional Health Care Services is seeking an Analyst I / Analyst II to perform analytical work evaluating and maintaining compliance with federal court mandates, federal/state regulations, and department policies. $3,861.00 - $6,276.00 per Month New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

In accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 1, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes.

Under supervision of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Analyst I / Analyst II performs the less complex analytical work in evaluating, monitoring, and maintaining institution compliance with various federal court mandates, federal and State regulations, and departmental policies and procedures associated with providing access to programs and services to patients with disabilities. The Analyst I / Analyst II performs a wide variety of analytical duties and responsibilities that require the knowledge of Department regulations, policies and procedures, good judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively. The Analyst I / Analyst II prepares reports, correspondence, collects data, tracks information, monitors tracking systems and makes recommendations to management. The Analyst I / Analyst II supports the overall mission and immediate goals of the institution and performs duties as necessary to provide better delivery of program services.

Candidates new to CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting.

Tuberculosis (TB) testing is required for candidates new to CCHCS prior to appointment followed by department annual TB testing/evaluation thereafter.
