California Department of Corrections Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking an Analyst III for complex, high-level analytical work in the Workers’ Compensation Section. The role includes serving as a SME, providing technical consultative services, and developing procedures to support program compliance.
The position is located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA with hybrid telework eligibility and requires residence in California upon appointment.
Under the direction of the Supervisor II in the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Office of Employee Health Management (OEHM), the Analyst III serves as an independent, non-supervisory Subject Matter Expert (SME) performing complex, high-level analytical work, including enhanced industrial disability leave, sensitive and death benefits, and incarcerated persons claims. The Analyst III provides technical consultative services, training, and guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees in strict accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations and policies. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for independently developing procedures, guidelines, and resources to support ongoing compliance and program administration.

The California Department of Corrections Rehabilitation (CDCR) Headquarters has implemented a new automated system to streamline the hiring process. The Human Resources Technology System (HRTS) is an intuitive, user-friendly system that provides the applicant access to real-time updates throughout the hiring process.
