Job summary

State of California, Department of Housing & Community Development, is seeking an Analyst I in Riverside to perform analytical and consultative work supporting regulatory programs under multiple housing acts. This in-office role requires interpreting laws, responding to inquiries, and providing essential technical support for program delivery.

The position carries a monthly salary range and requires the submission of an SOQ.

Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting and applying laws, regulations and policies.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise communication, both written and verbally, while using tact and good judgement.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with time management and ability to multitask, working in a team and/or working independently
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite of products, databases, specialized software.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Area Office with analytical and consultative work.
  • Interpret and apply laws, regulations and policies related to the Acts.
  • Assist with CASAS data entry and analysis and respond to inquiries regarding program requirements and regulatory processes.
  • Provide analytical, administrative, and technical support to ensure effective delivery of oversight and enforcement.
