Broadcast Music, Inc. is seeking an Analyst, Digital Identification to join a data-focused team in a hybrid role. You will work with multiple data sources, run automated workflows, and help improve music identification accuracy and royalty distribution.
You will collaborate with Distribution, Analytics, and IT, analyze KPI reports, and communicate findings to leadership. A Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years in a related role are preferred, with strong Excel/SQL skills and an interest in music

As an Analyst, Digital Identification, you’ll combine analytical thinking, technical skills and music industry knowledge to support BMI’s performance identification production cycle. You’ll work with data from a variety of sources, execute technical workflows, analyze identification results and help uncover opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency and identification rates.
This role sits at the intersection of data, technology and music. You’ll work with customized applications, reporting tools and data assets; partner with teams across Distribution and Tech; troubleshoot issues; and help turn complex information into insights that support business decisions.

Provides business intelligence, quality assurance, and overall technical support for the quarterly performance identification production cycle. Deploys technical skills related to the performance identification discipline. Increase overall knowledge base of organization’s data assets and technologies.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Experience: One (1) to two (2) years related experience or familiarity with an operational/processing role preferred. Knowledge of music industry or active participation in the music community highly preferred.
