Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Systems Analyst, Compliance Reporting provides technical andanalytical support to ensure the accuracy, integrity, andcompliance of student enrollment and graduation data reported bythe Office of the Registrar. The incumbent serves as the primaryadministrator for National Student Clearinghouse (NSCH) enrollmentand degree reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions inaccordance with federal, state, and institutional reportingrequirements.

This position serves as a liaison between the Registrar's Officeand IT on matters related to compliance reporting, Banner StudentSystem functionality, and reporting enhancements. The SystemsAnalyst examines student data, investigates reportingdiscrepancies, coordinates system testing, and develops processesto enhance data quality, reporting accuracy, and operationalefficiency. The position also provides secondary functional supportfor Degree Works and the Degrees Team by assisting with degreeaudit reviews, approved academic exceptions, audit-relatedinquiries, and the resolution of student record and degree auditissues.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree is required.

Experience: One year of experience is required.

Job Duties

• 45% - Manage all enrollment, graduation, and compliancereporting to the National Student Clearinghouse (NSCH). Ensuretimely and accurate submission of enrollment, degree, and relatedcompliance data in accordance with federal, state, andinstitutional reporting requirements. Monitor submission results,resolve errors, perform reconciliations, and maintain compliancewith reporting deadlines. - (Essential)
• 30% - Analyze, audit, and validate student data within Bannerand related systems to ensure reporting accuracy. Investigate andresolve data discrepancies by collaborating with departmentsincluding Financial Aid, Admissions, Graduate School, InstitutionalResearch, Information Technology, and Academic Colleges. Developand maintain documentation, validation procedures, and qualitycontrol processes to improve data integrity. - (Essential)
• 15% - Serve as a functional support specialist for Degree Worksby reviewing and applying approved petitions and exceptions inaccordance with university policies and approved documentation.Research and respond to inquiries from advisors, faculty, staff,students, and academic departments regarding degree audits,student-specific issues, audit discrepancies, exceptions, andgeneral Degree Works functionality. Assist in identifying,troubleshooting, and resolving degree audit errors whilemaintaining accurate student records and ensuring consistency inthe application of academic policies. - (Essential)
• 10% - Support the Office of the Registrar through specialprojects, documentation, cross-training initiatives, quality checkreviews, policy development, and other duties as assigned. Providetechnical guidance related to compliance reporting and assist withinstitutional reporting initiatives as needed. - (Essential)
