Job description

Business Development | Clear Haven Capital Management | New York, NY

ABOUT CLEAR HAVEN

Clear Haven Capital Management is an asset-backed credit and structured products investment firm founded in 2019, managing $2.5B+ across four institutional strategies spanning public and private markets. Our team operates under a single, differentiated investment philosophy: find diverse, predictable cash flow profiles, apply strong structural protections, and create value on both sides of the balance sheet.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Analyst to join our Business Development team, supporting capital formation efforts across Clear Haven's four strategies — IG Fixed Income, Total Return, Asset-Backed Private Credit, and Insurance-Linked. This is a high-visibility role on a four-person team, reporting to Client Service team leaders and working directly with senior leadership. The role centers on data analysis and presentation — quantifying the value of Clear Haven's strategies within their competitive landscape, building performance models, and producing investor-facing marketing and reporting materials. This is a full-time, in-office role based in our New York office, five days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze and quantify the competitive positioning of Clear Haven's strategies relative to peers and benchmarks, translating findings into clear, investor-ready narratives.
  • Build and maintain fund performance models, attribution analyses, and return/scenario comparisons to support investor communications and internal strategy discussions.
  • Support the preparation of marketing materials — pitch decks, fund summaries, DDQs, and performance reports — with an emphasis on data accuracy and compelling presentation.
  • Produce recurring and ad hoc investor reporting, ensuring consistency of metrics and messaging across materials.
  • Conduct research on market trends, competitor positioning, and prospective investors to inform business development strategy.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems (HubSpot) to track investor interactions, pipeline activity, and collaborate cross-functionally with the investment and operations teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of external materials.
  • Support roadshow, investor meeting, and conference logistics as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in financial services, asset management, or a related analytical role
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with financial modeling required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into clear, investor-facing narratives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with CRM platforms a plus
  • Genuine interest in credit markets, structured products, and alternative investments
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with a professional demeanor suitable for institutional investor-facing work
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Expected annual base compensation: $100,000 – $125,000
  • 20 days PTO per year in addition to paid holidays
  • Employer-sponsored Medical / Dental / Vision
  • Monthly commuter and wellness stipends
