Job summary

Clear Haven Capital Management in New York, NY, seeks a Senior Associate for Private Credit to perform underwriting, financial modeling, and portfolio management. You will work with the Originations team to execute transactions and optimize portfolio strategies in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in specialty finance, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in Excel; Python/VBA/SQL are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in specialty finance.
• Experience with transaction execution, credit structuring, and data analysis.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel. Python, VBA, or SQL a plus.
• High attention to detail with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
• Highly detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deal execution – executing transactions through closing.
• Portfolio monitoring – ongoing surveillance, covenant tracking, manage existing client relationships, and risk rating updates.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associateto join ourPrivate Creditteam. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, experience in financial modeling, portfolio management, and transaction execution. This role will work closely with our senior Originations team to execute specialty finance transactions, enhance performance, and optimize portfolio strategies.This is a full-time, in-office role based in our New York office, five days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Expected annual base compensation: $150,000 – $175,000
• 20 days PTO per year in addition to paid holidays
