Job Description:

The position is for an analyst/associate in the Networking and Cybersecurity Equity Research team.

The ideal candidate possesses 2-4 years of experience in sell-side Technology research. The candidate should have some familiarity with financial statements and a passion for following the stock market. The candidate will work alongside Senior Analysts and Associates in all aspects of the research process, including:

• Writing industry and company reports, including stock coverage initiations
• Building financial models with income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to analyze stock valuations
• Demonstrating industry knowledge
• Building relationships with contacts at covered companies
• Seeking out new and unusual information sources
• Monitoring news, analyzing data, and highlighting stock-impacting updates, especially when Senior Analysts are traveling
• Developing surveys and conducting interviews to assess market potential and product/service demand
• Interacting with sales, trading, and external clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (advanced degrees or industry experience are a plus but not required)
• Experience in equity research, buy-side, investment banking, or industry/consulting is preferred
• Strong financial modeling and writing skills
• Enjoyment of stock market analysis and research
• Academic background in relevant fields (e.g., Healthcare, Technology, Consumer, Financials, Industrials)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Pay Transparency:

Location: US - NY - New York - ONE BRYANT PARK - BANK OF AMERICA TOWER (NY1100)

Pay range: $70,000 - $175,000 annually, based on experience, education, and skills. Discretionary incentive eligible and participation in annual discretionary plan.
