Job summary

Big Watt Digital, LLC is seeking a driven investment professional to underwrite digital infrastructure opportunities in Austin. You will build robust financial models, prepare investor materials, and provide deep analysis to support transactions and development initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring 1.5–5 years in investing or M&A, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. The role involves collaborating across teams to structure deals and monitor market activity.

Qualifications

• 1.5–5 years of relevant experience, with direct investing or M&A experience preferred.
• Sector experience in digital infrastructure, energy-adjacent infra or real assets is highly valued.
• Exceptional financial modeling and investment analysis skills with advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills with an entrepreneurial approach.
• Meticulous attention to detail, self-motivated and able to meet multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite digital infrastructure investments including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Prepare and maintain investment materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide financial analysis supporting transactions, investor initiatives, and development opportunities.
• Support financing execution including loan draws and covenant monitoring.
• Assist debt and equity capital markets activities including deal structuring and JV modeling.
• Monitor market activity and maintain databases of comparables.
• Collaborate with technical and development teams to refine underwriting criteria.

• Underwrite digital infrastructure and power investment opportunities including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Prepare and maintain investment materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide financial analysis supporting transactions, investor initiatives, and digital infrastructure acquisition and development opportunities.
• Support financing execution, including analysis for loan draws and monitoring of loan covenant requirements.
• Support debt and equity capital markets execution, including deal structuring, JV and waterfall modeling.
• Monitor digital infrastructure market activity and maintain databases of leasing, transaction, and debt comparables.
• Partner with technical and development teams to maintain internal underwriting criteria and assumptions.

THE PERSON WHO WILL THRIVE HERE
