Job summary

Big Watt Digital, LLC in Austin seeks an experienced investment professional to underwrite digital infrastructure opportunities, build robust financial models, and prepare materials for internal and external stakeholders.

You will analyze transactions, support financing execution, and help structure deals while monitoring market activity and maintaining databases of comps. Collaboration with product and development teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 1.5–5 years of relevant experience in investing or M&A.
• Digital infrastructure / data center-adjacent sectors experience is highly preferred.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with strong financial modeling ability.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite digital infrastructure investment opportunities at project and portfolio levels.
• Prepare and maintain investment materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide financial analysis supporting transactions, investor initiatives, and development opportunities.
• Support financing execution, including analysis for loan draws and monitoring of loan covenant requirements.
• Support debt and equity capital markets execution, including deal structuring.
• Monitor digital infrastructure market activity and maintain databases of leasing, transaction, and debt comparables.
• Partner with technical and development teams to maintain internal underwriting criteria and assumptions.

Job description

• Underwrite digital infrastructure investment opportunities at project and portfolio levels, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Prepare and maintain investment materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide financial analysis supporting transactions, investor initiatives, and digital infrastructure acquisition and development opportunities.
• Support financing execution, including analysis for loan draws and monitoring of loan covenant requirements.
• Support debt and equity capital markets execution, including deal structuring, JV and waterfall modeling.
• Monitor digital infrastructure market activity and maintain databases of leasing, transaction, and debt comparables.
• Partner with technical and development teams to maintain internal underwriting criteria and assumptions.

THE PERSON WHO WILL THRIVE HERE

• 1.5-5 years of relevant experience, with direct investing or M&A experience, strongly preferred.
• Sector: Digital infrastructure / data center-adjacent experience, including TMT, power/utilities, infrastructure, and real assets, is highly preferred.
• Exceptional financial modeling and investment analysis skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills with an entrepreneurial approach.
• Meticulous attention to detail, self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to consistently meet concurrent deadlines.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
