Job description

The Analyst / Associate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a sub-portfolio of 20-25 loan positions within the Real Estate Capital Partners (RECP), Dallas loan portfolio. The RECP group is part of the Corporate Banking division of RBC Capital Markets. In addition to loan management activities, the Asset Manager will collaborate with the Head of Asset Management and RECP Regional Head to prepare portfolio reports, analysis, and updates for internal and external stakeholders, including the RECP Management Committee, Global Risk Management, Global Credit, CUSCO Boards and Committees, and Regulatory Bodies. The Asset Manager will serve as the primary contact for R&M and CTM functions regarding specific loan positions and collateral.

• Prepare quarterly RECP Committee reports
• Manage draw requests and disbursements
• Track loan and asset performance
• Manage bank syndicates
• Provide quarterly asset and portfolio reports
• Approve leases
• Manage and track escrows
• Monitor reporting
• Oversee weekly pipeline management
• Perform financial spreading
• Handle asset releases
• Manage and track reserves
• Prepare IHC Board reports
• Manage monthly waterfall reports
• Maintain data tapes
• Deliver ad hoc portfolio presentations and reports
• Ensure regulatory reporting compliance
• Monitor maturities and extensions

What do you need to succeed?

• 1-5 years of experience in commercial real estate asset management, servicing, banking, finance, or investing
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Argus, and strong communication skills
