Description:


Position takes direct calls from Radiology customers and provides support of Optum PACS to our contracted customers. Position is specifically located in the US as required for supporting our government customers. Currently, we achieve a 44% first-day closure rate for government customer complaints. Our objective key result (OKR) is to improve this to a 60% closure rate.


You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Troubleshoot issues on production RIS and PACS radiology systems which utilize some of the following technologies: Local & Wide Area Networks, Windows Servers and workstations, Enterprise-class hardware & storage systems, and Oracle databases

  • Liaison with internal teams, including R&D, Technical Response, Systems Engineering, Production & Installation, and Sales as required to deliver on customer requests

  • Contribute to a fast-paced and highly collaborative team-based work environment

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and systems administration functions

  • Identify opportunities for further team education and growth

  • Participate in the creation of the training materials

  • Seek and suggest competence and career development opportunities to current management

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)

  • 2+ years of experience in a tech support environment diagnosing and troubleshooting software and/or computer systems

  • Ability to work 8:00am - 5:00pm Eastern Time Zone or Central Time Zone

  • Ability to occasionally work on call and overtime as the business requires


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering OR Computer Technology Diploma

  • Certification (MCSE, A+, etc.)

  • Experience in a customer service environment

The salary range for this role is $28.61 to $56.06 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
