Job summary

Venteon is seeking an Analyst - Accounting & Reporting in the Metro Detroit area. The role focuses on monthly and quarterly accounting for stock-based compensation, lease accounting, and equity investments, with responsibilities for quarter-end reporting deliverables.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 2+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate), and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate).
• CPA or CPA eligible is a plus; MBA a plus.
• SEC Reporting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting for stock-based compensation, earnings per share, lease accounting, equity investments and other areas as needed, including journal entries, footnotes, reconciliations, and executive reporting.
• Support quarter-end financial reporting disclosures, including the external press release, external earnings call deck and script.
• Support the consolidations process as needed.
• Assist in various projects and preparation of ad-hoc reports.

Responsibilities
