Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ seeks an electrical engineer to design, test, and support advanced analog electronics and power systems for mission-critical subsystems. You will model, simulate, and optimize circuit cards and power architectures, driving high reliability in extreme environments.

You will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to translate requirements into lab-ready solutions, prepare documentation, and support production tests, with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience or coursework in Analog Electronics, Power Electronics, Power Systems, or Control Systems.
• Experience developing simulations or models of electrical circuits using PSPICE, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent.
• Experience communicating technical concepts through engineering documentation or presentations.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, and document analog circuitry, power conversion modules, and power sub-system architectures.
• Develop precision control systems, including servo control loops, motor drives, and digital feedback.
• Architect flight termination/telemetry systems and data acquisition modules.
• Model power system dynamics and EMI using PSPICE, LTspice, or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Support hardware integration, lab characterization, troubleshooting, and production test activities.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers to meet specs and milestones.
• Prepare technical documentation, schematics, test procedures, and trade study reports.
