Job summary

Raytheon seeks electrical engineering summer interns focusing on analog electronics, power electronics, power systems and servo/motor control. The ideal candidate will deepen knowledge and contribute to hardware designs at RTX.

This onsite role offers exposure to design, analysis, simulation, testing, and documentation, with travel to Marlborough/Andover/Woburn/Pelham depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Minimum 30 hours of credit by start of internship/co-op.
• Coursework in Basic Circuit Theory, Signals and Systems, Electronics.
• Coursework in modeling/simulation using PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a team of engineers to develop designs based on requirements, operational specifications, and RTX guidelines.
• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion, analog circuitry, or servo/motor control systems.
• Provide support to production, integration, and test activities.
• Gain exposure to analog, power, or motor/servo control engineering design.
• Travel to Marlborough, Andover, Woburn, and/or Pelham may be required depending on assignment.
