Job summary

RTX is seeking electrical engineering summer interns to work on analog electronics, power electronics, power systems, and servo/motor control systems. The role offers exposure to design, analysis, and testing within a defense-focused environment, with onsite work in Marlborough, MA, and travel as needed. Candidates must pursue a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, complete at least 30 credit hours, and be eligible for U.S.

security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate degree majoring in Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co‑op session.
• Coursework in Basic Circuit Theory, Signals and Systems, Physics: Electronics and Electromagnetism.
• Coursework in modeling and simulation using PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a team of engineers to develop designs based on requirements, operational specifications, and RTX guidelines.
• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion, analog circuitry, or servo/motor control systems.
• Provide support to production, integration, and test activities.
• Gain exposure to analog, power, or motor/servo control engineering design.
• Travel to Marlborough, MA; Andover, MA; Woburn, MA; and/or Pelham, NH as required by assignment.
