Job summary

Broadcom Inc. is seeking an Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to design, simulate, and optimize high-performance transistor-level circuits, data converters, high-speed I/Os, and power management for advanced semiconductor nodes.

The role requires deep expertise in circuit design, layout oversight, SPICE analyses, and lab bring-up. Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso/Analog Artist and MATLAB is essential, with 8+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (MSEE) or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering preferred, or a Bachelor’s degree with extensive industry experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience depending on seniority (Staff, Senior, or Lead).
• Strong working knowledge of Cadence design tools (like Cadence Virtuoso and Analog Artist) and MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Circuit Design & Modeling: Design analog blocks (ADCs, DACs, bandgaps, LDOs, and PLLs) using transistor-level and behavioral modeling tools.
• Layout & Verification: Draw or oversee physical custom layouts, running SPICE and post-layout extractions to minimize parasitics.
• Silicon Bring-Up & Lab Testing: Characterize IC performance in the lab using test equipment, debug hardware issues, and collaborate with ATE engineers.

Core Responsibilities

• Circuit Design & Modeling: Design analog blocks (such as ADCs, DACs, bandgaps, LDOs, and PLLs) using transistor-level and behavioral modeling tools
• Layout & Verification: Draw or oversee physical custom layouts, running SPICE and post-layout extractions to minimize parasitics
• Silicon Bring-Up & Lab Testing: Characterize integrated circuit (IC) performance in the lab using test equipment, debug hardware issues, and collaborate with automatic test equipment (ATE) engineers

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree (MSEE) or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering preferred, or a Bachelor’s degree with extensive industry experience

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual base salary range for this position is USD 109,700.00 To USD 175,500.00
