Job summary

Extropic is seeking an Analog/Mixed-Signal Engineer to accelerate hardware development in Boston. The role focuses on deep analog/mixed-signal design, CMOS device behavior, noise and linearity considerations, and trade-offs across blocks from LDOs to data converters.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant experience, hands-on lab testing, and Cadence-based simulations, contributing to robust tape-out verification and reliable high-performance analog designs.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in analog/mixed-signal engineering.
  • Experience designing analog blocks (Comparator, op-amp, reference/bias generation, LDO regulators, filters, switch-cap, and data converters).
  • Experience in layout and design of high-speed analog circuits (Frequency dividers, oscillators, PLLs).
  • Strong knowledge of noise, linearity, stability, low-power, and low-noise techniques.
  • Reliability issues and layout effects mitigation strategies (EM, etc.).
  • Lab testing with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes.
  • Cadence simulations (PEX, Monte-Carlo, Corner).
  • Tape-out verification support (DRC, ERC, LVS).
  • Pre-silicon validation and top-level mixed-signal simulations.
