Skyworks Cedar Rapids Design Center is seeking a motivated engineering intern to work side by side with a mentor and grow your skills on tools that help engineers design the next generation of cellular phones. • Available to work onsite in Cedar Rapids January-June 2027.
• Must be currently enrolled in a BS, MS or PhD program.
• Background in software development.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools, UNIX, Python, VScode, AI tools.

Responsabilidades

• Learn, evaluate and utilize AI tools to write code more efficiently.
• Communicate with engineering teams to discover inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Create new and/or evaluate existing software solutions to develop workflows removing inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Work with design engineers to determine how AI can be deployed to help in their work.
• Support existing workflows by adding requested features and fixing bugs.
• Create training documentation and train engineers to use new workflows.
• Display a positive, can-do attitude.
• Must have ability to complete Co-op term prior to graduation.
