Skyworks Solutions, Inc. Cedar Rapids Design Center seeks a motivated Analog IC Design Co-Op for Winter/Spring 2027 to work on real products and high-impact projects. You will design reusable analog blocks under mentorship and contribute to the development of cellular phone ICs.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and proactive mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Enrolled in BS/MS/PhD program in Electrical Engineering focusing on analog or RF circuit design.
• Able to commit to Winter/Spring Co-Op term (Jan–May 2027) onsite in Cedar Rapids.
• Strong knowledge of analog design and circuit fundamentals.
• Familiar with Cadence Virtuoso, SPICE, or similar simulation tools.
• Completed coursework in Analog CMOS design.
• Experience with lab tools (Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Multimeters).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Design analog circuit blocks including DACs, op-amps, references, regulators, and level shifters.
• Compile results in design review slides and present to the engineering team.
• Set up and debug simulation test benches.
• Improve analog design processes using IC design automation tools.
