Job summary

Emerson Electric Co in Austin, TX is seeking an Analog Hardware Engineering Intern to collaborate with experienced engineers on hardware and software product development. You will be assigned a mentor and participate in the full product development cycle from design to manufacturing production.

You will gain hands-on experience in circuit design, schematic entry, board layout, validation, and design verification, while learning to diagnose and debug technical challenges and work with the R&D

Qualifications

• Understanding of electronics, computers, and programming.
• Strong proficiency in frequency-domain and time-domain design.
• Basic understanding of digital design principles.

Responsibilities

• Learn professional techniques and perform tasks in circuit design, schematic entry, board layout, or board validation.
• Work with a wide variety of T&M staff in R&D hardware and software organizations.
• Develop hardware and software solutions for design validation.
• Perform research as required to complete projects.
• Diagnose and debug technical challenges.
