Job summary

Custom Manufacturing & Engineering (CME) in the Tampa Bay area is seeking an Electrical Engineer I or II to design, develop, test, and support electronic hardware used in aerospace, defense, space, industrial, and energy applications.

The role spans circuit design, simulation, prototyping, bench testing, and close collaboration with manufacturing to move designs toward production. EE I targets early‑career engineers; EE II adds ownership and independence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • 0–2 years for EE I and 2–5+ years for EE II recommended.
  • Experience with analog electronics and bench testing preferred.
  • Familiarity with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop analog and mixed-signal circuits for power, sensing, and control.
  • Prototype, test, troubleshoot, and refine electronic hardware in the lab.
  • Create schematics, specifications, and test procedures.
  • Support designs through prototype, verification, and production stages.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and quality teams.
