Custom Manufacturing & Engineering (CME) in the Tampa Bay area is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I/II to design and develop mechanical/electro‑mechanical products for aerospace and defense applications. This hands‑on role involves taking concepts through manufacturing, prototyping, and testing.
The engineer will work across disciplines, create 3D models, drawings, BOMs, and documentation, and apply DFM/DFA, GD&T, materials, tolerancing and manufacturing principles.

This is a hands‑on role for an early‑career engineer who enjoys solving design problems, working across disciplines, and seeing products move from concept through manufacturing.
Experience with GD&T, DFM/DFA, machining, sheet metal, welding, thermal or structural analysis, MIL‑STD testing, or electro‑mechanical packaging is a plus.
