• Understand how package and system constraints affect circuit performance and incorporate those requirements into the design.

Analog & Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer

Up to $220k base

We’re working with an early-stage semiconductor company developing a multi-material 3D integration platform. The approach combines materials such as GaN, silicon, glass and diamond to address circuit, packaging and thermal requirements together.

The initial focus is RF systems for radar and low-Earth-orbit communications, with a longer‑term platform spanning power electronics, compute and photonics.

They’re hiring an Analog & Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to own foundational circuit development, with broad responsibility across circuit, package and system boundaries and a direct connection between design decisions and measured silicon.

The role

• Own analog and mixed‑signal circuits from architecture and implementation through verification, layout collaboration and tape‑out.
• Take responsibility for silicon bring‑up, characterization and debug, using measured results to evaluate and improve circuit designs.
• Resolve design trade‑offs across power, noise, linearity, stability and reliability.
• Partner with RF, power, packaging and systems engineers on integration decisions.
• Understand how package and system constraints affect circuit performance and incorporate those requirements into the design.
• Help establish design reviews, verification methods and engineering practices as the team grows.

Your experience

• Strong analog and mixed‑signal IC fundamentals, with clear personal ownership of delivered silicon or tape‑outs.
• The ability to explain your architecture choices, circuit trade‑offs and implementation decisions.
• Sound reasoning across power, noise, linearity, stability and reliability.
• Breadth beyond a narrowly defined circuit block, with an understanding of how your designs interact with the wider system.

You’ll join at the point where early engineers can shape both the product and the engineering organization. The work offers broad circuit ownership, direct collaboration with the founding team and a close connection between circuit decisions, physical integration and measured hardware.
