Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an outpatient psychiatrist to cover a 4-day week in Illinois (Aurora). 3 onsite days and 1 telemedicine day after an initial onsite period. This role involves all ages and child/adolescent evaluations with defined visit lengths.

There is no call or weekend work, and coverage continues until a permanent clinician is placed. Benefits include paid malpractice, travel and housing expenses, and 24-hour access to a Weatherby consultant.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient psychiatry for all ages (child to adult).
• Adult new evaluations: 30 minutes; child/adolescent new evaluations: 30–45 minutes.
• Medication checks: 15 minutes for adults; 15–30 minutes for child/adolescent.
• No on-call or weekend duties; coverage until a permanent placement is found.

Job description

• 4 days/week -- 3 days onsite, 1 day telemed after initial onsite period
• 1 day/week is a 12-hour shift 8 am - 8 pm; remaining days 8 am - 4 pm
• No call, no weekends
• Outpatient psychiatry -- all ages including child, adolescent, and adult
• Adult new evals: 30 min; child/adolescent new evals: 30 - 45 min
• Med checks: 15 min adult; 15 - 30 min child and adolescent
• Coverage until permanent placement is found
• Hospital privileges required
