Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a locum psychiatry physician for outpatient care in Aurora, IL. You will work 4 days per week: one 12-hour shift (8 am–8 pm) and three 8-hour shifts (8 am–4 pm), with no call or weekend duties.

You will treat all ages, with adults and child/adolescent evals described in detail, while Weatherby covers malpractice insurance, travel and housing, and provides 24/7 consultant support.

Qualifications

• Outpatient psychiatry setting
• All ages seen — child, adolescent, and adult patients
• Adults: 30 min new evals, 15 min med checks
• Child/adolescent: 30–45 min new evals, 15–30 min med checks
• Coverage until permanent provider is found
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and ongoing management for patients across age groups
• Administer adult and pediatric evaluations and follow-up visits per schedule
• Maintain timely documentation and time entry in the online portal
• Coordinate with Weatherby consultants to ensure smooth placement and continuity of care
• No on-call or weekend duties as part of the assignment
