Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a board-certified psychiatrist for an on-site inpatient adult psychiatry role in Florida. The schedule is Mon–Fri, 8-hour days with weekday call from 8am to 8am and potential weekend rotations.

Expect 15–18 patients daily, 2–4 admissions and 7–10 follow-ups per day, with NP support and potential adolescent unit cross-coverage. The assignment offers paid malpractice insurance and prepaid travel and housing expenses, with competitive compensation and 24/7 Weatherby

Qualifications

• Board certification in psychiatry is required.
• Experience with adult inpatient psychiatry preferred.
• Willingness to participate in weekday and potential weekend call.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time inpatient psychiatry coverage on site in Florida.
• Manage 15–18 patients per day with 2–4 admissions and 7–10 follow-ups.
• Participate in weekday call and potential weekend rotation; cross-cover adolescent unit as needed.
