Job description

Summary

The Porter ensures the cleanliness of all areas of Carousel Gardens and Storyland, including grounds, walkways, rides, and facilities such as bathrooms and offices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned

• Cleans all bathroom facilities.
• Constantly walks grounds, picking up trash and cleaning spills.
• Ensures rides and ride areas are free of trash and debris.
• Prepares the park for opening each day and recovers it after closing.
• Mops, sweeps, and moves tables and chairs between birthday party areas.
• Wipes down benches, tables, and trash cans as needed.
• Empties trash cans, hauls trash to dumpsters, and replaces liners.
• Communicates with supervisory staff regarding potential hazards.
• Provides exceptional guest service, answers questions, and assists guests as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• One to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
