Job Summary :

A Porter is responsible for cleaning work areas, floors, walls, equipment, in and around the dish room, coolers, utility area, locker rooms/restrooms, office space, and all transportation areas both inside and outside of the facility.

Main Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, and performs other cleaning tasks as required.
2. Empties trash within the building.
3. Maintains sanitation in compliance with sanitation standards and corporate requirements.
4. Works as a member of a team.
5. Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education :

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Work Experience :

• Up to one-year experience preferred.

Technical Skills :

Not applicable.

Language / Communication Skills :

• Must be able to read and write to complete required forms.
• Effective communication with supervisors and co-workers is required.

Requirements of the Job :

• Work schedule may vary and include weekends and holidays.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
