Description

AMTS is seeking a qualified Program Manager for a long-term career opportunity in a manufacturing environment, working remotely with regular site visits to San Antonio, TX (residence in San Antonio preferred but not required).

AMTS-D&D JV provides manufacturing solutions in design, machining, fabrication, and assembly of aerospace ground support equipment for the commercial and defense sectors, with nearly 40 years of experience. The JV aims to deliver comprehensive manufacturing solutions supporting the warfighter, combining large business problem-solving techniques with small business agility. Our team includes civilian and former military personnel, bringing institutional knowledge and experience to produce exceptional, customer-specific results.

Role Description

The Program Manager will oversee joint-venture DoD manufacturing programs. Responsibilities include:

1. Establishing, monitoring, and achieving successful programs within the joint venture manufacturing environment.
2. Collaborating with Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to create and manage customer timelines.
3. Managing strategic, operational, and financial objectives of specific customer programs and overseeing individual projects within the portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
• At least 5 years of experience in:
• Program management with DoD manufacturing
• Creating and managing timelines
• Working with operations, engineers, and labor
• Customer and stakeholder management
• Developing IMP and IMS for government systems/equipment
• Executing CDRLs, DIDs, WBS, Risk Analysis, ILS, Logistics Data
• Leading reviews and technical meetings
• Managing scope, schedule, budget, change, and configuration control
• Proficient in MS Office and Microsoft Project

Desired Skills

• Experience in DoD contracting and manufacturing
• Knowledge of DoD Aerospace Ground Support Equipment lifecycle
• Familiarity with SBA 8(a) program
• ISO 9001-2015 experience
• Experience with Acumatica ERP
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement
• Analytical skills in performance and utilization metrics
• Cross-functional influence and communication skills
