Job summary

Air Methods is seeking AMTs with rotor experience to perform maintenance, inspections, and alterations on company aircraft. You will ensure compliance with FARs, manuals, and Ramco ERP for time accounting, while mentoring junior mechanics and supporting shop LEAN initiatives.

Preferred candidates have 5–7 years in heavy aircraft maintenance, with FAR 145 familiarity. The role requires flexibility for overtime and on-call rotation, and a focus on safety and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of related aircraft maintenance experience required.
• AS350 or EC130 experience preferred.
• Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred.
• FAR 145 operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and repairs following procedures, ADs, SBs and FARs.
• Verify part numbers/serials match documentation after installation/removal.
• Ensure maintenance docs comply with regulations and manuals.
• Participate in Safety Management System improvements and LEAN projects.
• Maintain a clean and professional work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
