Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an AMS Verification Engineer (Silicon Engineering) to design and own full-chip verification flows for RFICs and RF-SoCs. You will develop testbenches, models, and interfaces, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure accuracy and speed of simulations.

The role emphasizes analog/mixed-signal expertise and SystemVerilog/UVM proficiency. You will work with the ATE team on testplans, EM/IR simulations, and leverage AMS tools to verify complex RF/mixed-signal IPs across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of IC design/verification experience.
• Experience with AMS simulation tools and flows.
• Experience with gate-level simulation in AMS simulator.
• Experience in SystemVerilog, UVM, Python.
• Experience writing behavioral models in Verilog-A/AMS.
• Understanding of analog circuit fundamentals and RF/mixed-signal blocks.
• Understanding RTL and gate-level netlists.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own analog-on-top and digital-on-top verification flows for full-chip simulations of in-house RFICs and RF-SoCs.
• Develop testbenches and flows to simulate critical interfaces between RFICs/SoCs.
• Collaborate with designers to improve speed/accuracy of simulations for advanced mixed-signal IPs (PLLs, DACs, ADCs).
• Create behavioral models of RF/analog/mixed-mode circuit blocks and use them in chip verification.
• Work with ATE test engineering to develop and prototype testplans.
• Setup and run EM/IR simulations.
