Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Tucson, AZ seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the Electrical design across the AMRAAM program, overseeing the GEU, QTDD, and DLE subsystems. You will guide digital electronics design, analysis, testing, and integration for complex hardware in a fast-paced environment onsite.

The role requires a STEM degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience in circuit card design, FPGA/processor-based designs, and PCB design tools. relocation is offered.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in circuit card design including hardware designs with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, Aurora, I2C, SPI, and UART.
• Experience bringing a design concept from requirements to complete hardware design and verification via test and integration.
• Experience with PCB design processes and tools for schematic capture, analysis and simulation before hardware execution.

Responsibilities

• Direction and oversight of the Electrical Engineering team across the AMRAAM program.
• Support design, analysis, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and CCAs.
• Ensure the team executes program plans per established processes.
