Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska seeks a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant to build and lead a pioneering amputee wellness program that blends group fitness, education, and personalized support.

You’ll shape programming, initiate new ideas, and empower patients to thrive beyond formal therapy. The role offers autonomy within a clinical team, opportunities to mentor colleagues, and a direct impact on patient mobility and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy or DPT required; state licensure to practice in Nebraska.
• ACLS/AED preferred; BLS-CPR required; Orthotic/Prosthetic training a plus.
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a valid driver's license and driving record per policy.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead an amputee wellness program combining group fitness, education, community engagement, and individualized support.
• Provide therapy to new patients as part of a multidisciplinary team and mentor staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, nurses and social workers to coordinate care and progress.
