THOR Solutions, LLC is seeking a Diesel Main Propulsion and Control Systems Team Lead in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience on U.S. Navy AMPHIB platforms and experience as Engineering Officer of the Watch.

This role involves coordination of ship training visits, developing training resources, and advising on maintenance practices. An existing SECRET security clearance is required, and the anticipated pay range is between $90,000 and $110,000/year.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of supervisory experience in AMPHIB diesel propulsion systems.
• In-depth knowledge of Navy ship maintenance processes.
• Proficient with productivity software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ship training visits to improve Sailor proficiency.
• Compile and provide training resources for ship systems.
• Conduct comprehensive material condition assessments.
• Advise ship's leadership on maintenance practices.

Skills

Supervisory experience in main propulsion systems operation

Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW) experience

Maintenance/training relevant experience

Proficient with Microsoft Office
