Job summary

Core Services Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Diesel Engineer/SME to support the U.S. Navy in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience with Navy AMPHIB platforms and can conduct training to enhance Sailor proficiency. This position may require travel and demands a SECRET security clearance.

The anticipated pay range is between $90,000 and $110,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. This role offers a chance to work directly with Navy personnel and significantly contribute to naval readiness.

Qualifications

• Significant supervisory experience with Navy AMPHIB platforms.
• Experience as Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW).
• Direct experience with diesel generators and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ship training visits to improve Sailor proficiency.
• Develop training resources for classroom and deckplate training.
• Conduct material condition assessments for installed equipment.
• Advise ship's leadership on crew proficiency and material condition.

Skills

Supervisory-level watchstanding experience

Operational and maintenance experience with diesel propulsion
