Job summary

Prevailance, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Amphib Diesel Main Propulsion and Control Systems SME to support CNSP and the Readiness Assistance Training Team (RATT).

You will provide expert guidance on shipboard diesel propulsion plants, generators and control systems, working directly with sailors to strengthen operations and readiness. The role requires extensive CONUS/OCONUS travel and a SECRET clearance, with duties centered on improving propulsion plant operations, maintenance

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of supervisory-level watchstanding experience aboard warships or military auxiliaries with diesel main propulsion.
• Experience serving as EOOW, Propulsion Plant Watch Officer, Chief Engineer, or equivalent position responsible for propulsion plant operations and related systems.
• Direct operational and maintenance experience within the last five years with U.S. Navy diesel propulsion systems, generators, control and auxiliary systems.
• Willingness to travel extensively to CONUS and OCONUS shipboard RATT visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance and hands-on support for shipboard diesel propulsion plants, generators, control systems and related equipment.
• Work directly with shipboard personnel to improve propulsion operations, maintenance practices and overall readiness.
• Deliver technical assistance and training to enhance Navy vessel readiness during RATT visits.
