The Career Coach for the Achieve More & Prosper (AMP) is responsible for providing comprehensive case management, career readiness support, and employment placement services to program participants. This role ensures participants are actively engaged, progressing through training, earning industry-recognized credentials, and successfully transitioning into employment.
The Career Coach plays a critical role in driving performance outcomes tied to enrollment, retention, completion, credential attainment, and job placement while maintaining compliance with all program and funding requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Workforce Development, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 2 years of experience in case management, workforce development, or career coaching
Experience working with underserved populations and individuals with barriers to employment preferred
Strong knowledge of job readiness, career pathways, and employment placement strategies
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Experience with data tracking systems (QuickBase, ARIES, or similar) preferred
Relationship building and participant engagement
Accountability and results-driven performance
Attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong follow-up and documentation skills
Combination of office, classroom, and community-based settings
May require local travel for employer visits, recruitment, and participant support
Perform other duties as assigned to support program success and organizational goals
