Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) seeks an ASP Supervisor to establish and manage the Installation Ammunition Supply Point for Fort Hood, TX. You will oversee supply, storage, accountability, and surveillance operations, using TAMIS/SAAS-MOD systems and coordinating with the AO and government partners.

Responsibilities include supervising day-to-day ammo handling, training staff (89A/89B MOS), preparing weekly activity reports, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across all ASP

Qualifications

• Must have extensive knowledge of Ammunition Supply Point procedures including receipt, storage, and issue.
• Experience in inspection, stock accounting, requisition, stock control, warehousing, salvage, inventory and ammunition surveillance.
• Knowledge of supply and equipment management processes and governmental regulations for accountability.
• Operational skill with automated systems and LIS software.
• SAAS-Mod experience and ability to obtain CAC and security clearances.
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of receiving, inspecting, stocking, warehousing and issuing Class V ammunition.
• Interface with AO and government officials to ensure compliance with directives and requirements.
• Organize daily operations and provide weekly reports to the Supply & Services Manager.
• Develop and manage training programs for 89A/89B MOS’s.
• Ensure proper safety procedures and net explosive weight calculations for berm storage.
• Oversee ammunition surveillance, inspections and documentation, including shipments and field returns.
• Maintain LIS records and ensure licensing requirements for transportation are met.
• Coordinate with QASAS to verify shipment contents and documents.
• Support customer logistics needs for contingency and training operations.
