Job summary

The Kinetic Group, a leader in design and production of small caliber ammunition, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Technician for its Ozark, Missouri location. You’ll support manufacturing engineers, improve processes, and help bring new production methods into operation.

Ideal candidates have hands-on machining, equipment setup, data collection, and problem solving, with proficiency in measurements and communication. This role offers a competitive salary and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Machine setup and operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate efforts between engineering, machine shops, plant facilities, maintenance, vendors, tool inspection, tool crib and manufacturing.
• Conduct process studies; observe and/or run equipment for trials, engineering runs, new equipment startup, control and measure selected parameters, collect data.
• Assist in key Manufacturing Engineering assignments including; process development, tooling inspection review, new equipment set up, BOM and specification reviews and changes, capital project management.
• Complete work orders, engineering notice requests, requisitions, shop and facilities requests.
• Tool up and adjust machines, identify and resolve issues and provide expertise to the floor.
• Support implementation of new processes and machine designs by assembling, debugging, modifying and/or installing equipment.
• Product gaging.
• Manufacturing process and equipment troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Support engineers in solving complex problems.
