Job summary

Daily's Premium Meats LLC is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on ammonia and wastewater systems, and to manage related plant utilities. The role includes facilities upkeep, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will diagnose problems, interpret manuals and schematics, and ensure preventive maintenance tasks are completed while maintaining accurate records and following safety rules.

Qualifications

• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, and procedures; interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Experience or exposure to ammonia refrigeration and wastewater systems.
• Willingness to obtain required equipment certifications and pass assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on ammonia and wastewater systems.
• Conduct daily preventive maintenance and document completed tasks.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and related regulations.
• Collaborate to develop PSM and RPM programs with the Utility Supervisor.
• Operate and maintain facility heating, air conditioning, and electrical systems.
• Read blueprints, diagnose problems, and repair or replace parts as needed.
• Maintain facility cleanliness, grounds upkeep, and safety practices.
