Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Auburndale facility to maintain ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and water treatment systems. You will troubleshoot plant utilities and support safety programs in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

You will also train peers, read blueprints and operate power tools, forklifts, and heavy equipment while ensuring quality, safety, and reliability across plant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Minimum 5 years industrial plant maintenance experience in ammonia refrigeration and HVAC.
• Must obtain CIRO or higher within 6 months from date of hire.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics; PLC knowledge is a plus.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work in extreme temperatures and high noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Maintain boilers, condensate returns, and steam distribution systems.
• Maintain water treatment systems, including nano- and RO filtration.
• Maintain compressed air systems up to 600 psi and HVAC units.
• Restore plant utilities after power outages and support PSM program.
• Train peers and new facilities maintenance staff in current technologies.
• Operate forklift and Genie boom; travel to other locations as needed.
