Pilgrim's in Carrollton, GA seeks an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician on the 3rd shift to maintain and service ammonia refrigeration systems and plant utilities, including boilers, air compressors, pumps, motors, and valves.

Candidate should have 1+ year of ammonia refrigeration experience, RETA certification is a plus, and be willing to obtain Hazmat Responder Certification; strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills; heavy emphasis on safety and PPE.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Willingness to obtain Hazmat Responder Certification and be part of Hazmat Team.

Responsabilités

• Maintain refrigeration equipment and plant utilities (boilers, air compressors, pumps, motors, valves).
• Document repairs and daily activities; maintain PSM paperwork.
• Perform PMs on compressors, boilers, HVAC components.
• Communicate with maintenance management about production information.
• Maintain neat and safe work area and follow PPE guidelines.
• Be available for weekend or extra shifts.
• Use required PPE and follow all safety guidelines.
