Job summary

Walmart is expanding with its third company-owned milk processing facility to serve over 750 stores across Texas and surrounding states. This Ammonia and Refrigeration Tech I-Manufacturing role supports maintenance and operation of ammonia refrigeration systems in a dairy plant, with a Monday-Thursday 2:00pm-12:30am schedule.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment, and work with teams to ensure safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

Option 1: Trade/vocational school degree/certification in industrial maintenance or similar area.
Option 2: 1 year’s experience in industrial refrigeration.
Option 3: 2 years’ experience in HVAC.
Option 4: 2 years’ experience with wastewater treatment plants.
Option 5: 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

Assist maintenance technicians with preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
Diagnose refrigeration and electrical problems using drawings and tools.
Troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration system problems with control logic and IO devices.
Lead and coordinate work, ensuring safety and quality standards.
Complete work orders and maintain records of activities.
