Job summary

City Brewing Company in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Refrigeration & Ammonia Technician to oversee the plant refrigeration system and ensure safe, efficient operation.

The role requires a degree in HVAC or equivalent or 3 years ammonia refrigeration experience; strong teamwork, problem solving, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; passes drug screening and background checks; competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Requires degree or 3+ years experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Must work well in a team and possess good problem solving and communication skills.
• Must be able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass post-offer drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot evaporators, heat exchangers, pumps and related ammonia systems.
• Maintain and repair compressed air systems and glycol systems.
• Operate and monitor water treatment, RO and de-aeration systems.
• Support boiler maintenance and safety procedures.
