Job summary

The role provides direct supervision to technicians and operators, with scheduling, prioritization of work, and collaboration with the Maintenance Management team. Occasional coordination with the Waverly plant admin may be required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or vocational training completed.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in refrigeration or related field.
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, simple document creation).
• Willingness to travel 1–5 trips annually.
• Experience supervising personnel performing similar tasks.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of the ammonia refrigeration system and related plant equipment.
• Ensure compliance with PSM requirements and safety regulations.
• Direct supervision of technicians and operators including scheduling and prioritization of work.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Management team to support facility-wide operations.
• Assist Refrigeration Manager and PSM Coordinator with administrative responsibilities as needed.
